Feyisetan Fayose: A Philanthropist Par Excellence, Staunchly Advocating for Education of the Girl Child

Mrs. Feyisetan Fayose is the incumbent first lady of Ekiti State and wife of Ayo Fayose. She’s also a philanthropist, a human right activist and grand patron of Ekiti state chapter of National Union of Female Journalists.
Different people may have different impressions about Mrs. Feyisetan 0layemi Fayose, but one thing is certain, she is a mother with a large heart and a philanthropist par excellence. Regarded by many as a lady evangelist or a prophetess, mainly because of her prophetic prowess, the humanitarian gestures of Mrs. Fayose are giving succor to the less privileged, assisting the needy in cash and kind while throwing her weight in support of good Medicare and education.
A supporter of the girl child education, Mrs. Fayose laments the increasing rate of the pandemic in Nigeria, saying millions of children were living with the virus and stresses the need for the appropriate authority to continue enlightenment campaign to raise public awareness in order to curb the transmission of the virus.
She also frowns at pre-marital sex and admonishes the youth to desist from pre-marital sex, so as to avoid unwanted pregnancy as well as avoid contacting the HIV virus.
A staunch defender and protector of the basic human rights of vulnerable people, the first lady says all hands must be on deck to ensure the protection of basic human rights and stop the discrimination of the people living with HIV, pledging her continued support for the State Government towards the prevention of the HIV transmission.
Indeed a woman of virtue.
