Fuel tanker explodes under Otedola bridge in Lagos state this evening, March 11.
The 30 tonnes DAF Gas Truck with an unknown registration number was navigating the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when an accident occurred, resulting in an ensuing explosion accompanied by fireballs in front of a Redeemed Church. The fire quickly spread to the church and an adjoining bungalow building, as well as four different brands of vehicles, as it was mitigated.
The fire also affected the mechanic parks around.
No casualty has been recorded..
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, LASTMA says efforts are being made to put out the fire.
