Prince Harry, Meghan Markle are posing for a picture

  • Prince Harry is “heartbroken” because of the tensions within the royal family.
  • Harry’s friend, journalist Tom Bradby, is speaking out about Harry and Meghan Markle’s life since their separation from the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step down from their senior roles in the royal family almost a year ago. Harry’s close friend and journalist, Tom Brady, is opening up in an upcoming appearance on ITV’s Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh. He speaks about how the tension following the Sussexes’ move has been complicated.

“It was a very psychologically complex project because they were clearly in a difficult position and weren’t feeling great and I realized the extent of that the more I was there,” he explains. Tom was with Meghan and Harry during their southern Africa tour for their documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. He asked Meghan a question, in a clip that went viral, “how she’d found the last year.” She replied, “It is a very real thing to be going through. Thank you for asking—because not many have.”

Meghan and Harry currently have a lot of upcoming projects. They’ve been working with major companies like Spotify and Netflix and are even planning to have a second child. So, hopefully, 2021 will bring a lot more excitement

Harry, Meghan, and little Archie are living in Montecito, Calif. after leaving Los Angeles. According to Tom, they are adjusting to their new lives. “I think they are feeling better, yes,” he continued. “So are they unhappy? No, I think they are content, the things they are doing they are quite excited by. I think he is heartbroken by the situation with his family, you don’t necessarily need to have knowledge to know that, but I think it is true.”
