We still have six good months to round up 2021. But over the past few six months, Nigeria has lost 7 prominent and popular pastors or clerics to the cold hands of death.

Before the beginning of the year 2021, we prayed the year should be better than 2020. But it seems the year 2021 is not better than 2020.

Death is unwanted but inevitable. It will surely visit everyone and every household.

So today, I will be listing five notable Nigerian pastors and clerics that died in 2021.

1. The month of May is not a quick one to forget. Archbishop Caleb Anny Maduoma, the Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province Anglican Communion and Bishop of Ideato Diocese, died while he was sleeping.

2. Pastor Osueke of Assemblies of God Church General Superintendent also died in May. He also died in his sleep

3. Bishop (Dr) Moses Grandeur. popularly known as the smiling pastor, died in February (President VIFA WorldWide).

4. Pastor Dare Adeboye, the third child of a notable pastor in Nigeria, pastor Enoch Adeboye, also died in his sleep in May

The month of May is such a terrible one for Nigerian pastors and clerics.

5. The death of TB Joshua shook the whole of Nigeria, Africa, and the world. This is a sad one for everyone. The man of God who is very popular for his generosity died in June.

Victorious Army Ministries founder, Rev. Joseph Agboli

The founder of Victorious Army Ministries (VAM), Reverend Joseph Agboli is dead.

The cleric died last wk.  He had been under treatment in London hospital.

He was reportedly diagnosed with a heart-related ailment.

Agboli, in his 50s, started VAM in 1995. The church has branches in Southern States, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States.

The worship centre and international headquarters on Acme Road in Ogba, Lagos was developed in 1998.

The deceased was married to Pastor Blessing, an author and speaker.

The wife leads the Victorious Virtuous Women of VAM, where she coordinates and teaches single and married people.

May their souls rest in peace.
