Nigerian music icon, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has finally spoken out amid the swirling rumours involving his marriage and his wife, Hon. Natasha Osawaru Idibia, calling for an immediate end to the escalating speculations.
In a now-viral video, the legendary singer expressed alarm over how quickly the situation had spiraled, noting that online narratives have grown so wild and exaggerated that they now pose a real danger to his wife.
2Baba appealed passionately to fans, bloggers, and commentators to “calm down” and stop fueling panic. According to him, he never made any distressing post or statement, and any claims circulating online are simply false.
“Every family has issues,” he said, “but this one is being blown completely out of proportion.”
He warned that continued misinformation could put Natasha at risk and begged the public to stop creating chaos around his home.
Ending his message on a firm note, he urged friends, fans, and the general public to drop the rumours and stop the unnecessary tension.
