Speaking at the carnival’s press unveiling, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki said, “Edo Carnival 2025 is about pride—pride in who we were, who we are, and who we’re becoming. We are blending our royal history with modern creativity to show that our heritage is not only to be preserved but evolved into something even more powerful.”
