In a move to empower young Nigerians and boost employment opportunities, Air Peace has announced the launch of its 2025/2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, which will open up 1,000 positions for graduates across the country.

The initiative comes on the heels of the Federal Government’s suspension of the 4% Free on Board (FOB) levy on imports, a policy shift that has been welcomed by many industries, particularly aviation.

Building Careers, Building the Nation

According to the airline, the Graduate Trainee Programme is not only a response to government support but also a strategic effort to invest in the future of Nigeria’s workforce. Participants will gain practical training, mentorship, and hands-on exposure to various aspects of the aviation industry.

Air Peace noted that the scheme is designed to prepare a new generation of professionals who will contribute meaningfully to the growth of aviation and allied sectors in Nigeria.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants for the programme must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 30 years old or younger at the time of application.

  • Hold at least a Second Class Lower Degree from an accredited university.

  • Possess an NYSC Discharge, Exclusion, or Exemption Certificate.

  • Show evidence of passion, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Applications are open through the airline’s website, with a deadline of September 30, 2025.

A Corporate-Government Partnership

Industry experts say the creation of 1,000 jobs underscores how private companies can complement government policies aimed at protecting existing jobs and fostering economic growth. By taking this step, Air Peace is positioning itself not just as an airline but also as a key contributor to national development.
