Nigerian content creator Mandy Kiss, popularly known as the “Queen of Olosho,” stirred social media controversy after announcing her intention to attempt what she described as a Guinness World Record feat — sleeping with 100 men in a single day.
Mandy made the shocking disclosure on Instagram, stating that the attempt would take place on October 30. Her post quickly went viral, sparking outrage, debates, and curiosity across online platforms.
But Guinness World Records (GWR) has now weighed in on the matter. Responding to the viral story on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the global record-keeping authority clarified that it does not recognize or monitor such a category.
“This is not a record we monitor,” GWR wrote, effectively disassociating itself from Mandy’s claims.
The announcement has continued to generate heated discussions, with many Nigerians questioning the lengths some creators are willing to go in the name of fame and virality. Critics argue that such stunts not only demean women but also misrepresent the values of record-breaking achievements, while others dismissed it as nothing more than a publicity gimmick.
Guinness World Records, founded in 1955, has documented extraordinary human achievements across fields like sports, science, endurance, and creativity — but maintains strict guidelines on what qualifies as a record-worthy attempt. Mandy’s proposal, the organization confirmed, falls well outside those boundaries.
