Senior FRSC Officer, Daughter Murdered in Ritual Killing; TikTok Herbalists, Friend Arrested OGUN/OSUN STATE – A chilling tale of betrayal, ritual murder, and a botched cover-up has been unraveled by police in

A shocking revelation has emerged in Osun State as Victor Fajemirokun, the manfriend of the late Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, Lasisi Funmilayo, confessed to luring her and her daughter, Sewa, to their deaths at the hands of herbalists.

Fajemirokun, 40, was paraded alongside two herbalists, Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James, at the Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo on Wednesday.

According to Fajemirokun, he brought Funmilayo and her daughter from Ogun to Ijebu-Jesa after being advised by a cleric that Funmilayo had allegedly used spiritual means to undermine his fortune.

“I met Gboyega Daramola through TikTok. During a spiritual consultation, he told me that Funmilayo was causing misfortune in my life and that I needed to bring her for a ritual cleansing,” Fajemirokun admitted. “I never imagined it would end in murder. When we arrived at Ijebu-Ijesa, they took her and her daughter into the bush, where they were killed. I ran away afterward, shocked at what had happened.”

The FRSC officer, 39, and her daughter had been reported missing on the morning of Sunday, November 2, after leaving their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. Their mutilated bodies were later discovered in a suspected herbalist’s den, fueling suspicions of ritual killing.

During interrogation, one of the herbalists, Sunday James, disclosed that he and his accomplices were instructed to kill Funmilayo and her daughter on the orders of Daramola, who acted on Fajemirokun’s instructions. “We took them to the bush and slit their throats. The woman was later dismembered,” James said.

Police investigations led by Osun State Command revealed a chilling sequence of events. Fajemirokun had initially gone missing in Ikoyi, Osun State, where he claimed to be seeking spiritual intervention. Through intelligence-led operations, Daramola was arrested on November 16, confessing that Fajemirokun brought the victims for ritual purposes. Subsequently, Sunday James was arrested on November 20 in Ekiti State, leading authorities to recover Sewa Lasisi’s remains. Vital body parts, including the head and hands, were missing from both victims.

Interpol later assisted in tracking and repatriating Fajemirokun from Ghana, ensuring he faces prosecution in Nigeria.

Osun State Police Command assured the public that all suspects would be charged in court and that efforts continue to apprehend any remaining accomplices involved in the gruesome killings.
