Audi has rolled out mild updates for its 2027 electric lineup in the U.S., spotlighting the Q6 e-tron crossover and the A6 Sportback e-tron sedan. The refresh focuses on driver convenience, interior tech, and software refinements rather than changes to range, battery size, or performance.
Interior and Technology Upgrades
Both models now feature a redesigned steering wheel with dual scroll wheels, replacing some capacitive buttons for easier access to volume and other controls. The design takes inspiration from the Audi Concept C coupe.
The infotainment system has been updated with a more intuitive graphical interface, offering enhanced smartphone integration for navigation, media, and phone functions directly within the virtual cockpit.
A standout feature is the new “Power Nap” mode, which aims to create a relaxing environment during charging sessions—despite the fast 270 kW charging capability that can recharge from 10% to 80% in as little as 21 minutes.
Additionally, an optional integrated 4K dashcam now records HDR video and high-definition photos, storing them on an SD card with navigation data, speed, and timestamp overlays.
Performance and Driving Features
The 2027 A6 Sportback e-tron retains its 94.4 kWh battery, powering a single 375-horsepower rear motor in the base Ultra Package, offering up to 395 miles of EPA-estimated range. Upgrading to the Quattro all-wheel-drive model adds 456 hp, while the sporty S6 Sportback e-tron reaches 543 hp.
The Q6 e-tron crossover is available only with dual-motor AWD. Its base version delivers 456 hp and 325 miles of range, while the SQ6 e-tron boosts output to 509 hp. A coupe-like Q6 Sportback variant is also offered, sharing the same 94.4 kWh battery as the A6 sedan.
A new Dynamic Plus drive mode on the S6 Sportback e-tron allows controlled oversteer, catering to drivers seeking a sportier edge on tight corners.
