Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has publicly addressed the growing online controversy connecting him to the ongoing feud between social media figures Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, and Mitchell Mukoro, widely referred to as King Mitchy, firmly denying any wrongdoing or hidden involvement.

The issue gained attention after King Mitchy, a philanthropist and digital creator, shared news of her effort to refurbish a rundown school within six days. She presented the project as an example of how swift action and commitment could bring meaningful change. However, her remarks were widely interpreted as indirect criticism of VeryDarkMan, who has built a reputation as a vocal online activist.

In response, VeryDarkMan accused her of being used to promote a political agenda tied to President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He also mentioned Seyi Tinubu in his claims, alleging without evidence that both Seyi and King Mitchy were involved in actions aimed at intimidating him.

Reacting to the claims through a statement shared on Instagram, Seyi Tinubu dismissed the accusations as entirely unfounded and misleading. He explained that his interaction with King Mitchy was limited to a public encounter where he offered financial support to her charity initiative, consistent with his broader commitment to youth empowerment and philanthropy.

According to him, the meeting took place openly and in the presence of others, and there was nothing inappropriate about the engagement. He added that a planned follow-up meeting to review the impact of the donation never happened due to his recent health challenges.

Tinubu emphasized that there was no private relationship, secret arrangement, or improper conduct between himself and King Mitchy. He expressed concern that his name had been unnecessarily dragged into a dispute he had no role in creating.

He further accused VeryDarkMan of attempting to damage his reputation by associating him with unverified claims and online speculation. Tinubu stated that being linked to charitable activities should not be misrepresented as wrongdoing, and warned against spreading false narratives for attention.

Making his position clear, he said he would not allow himself to be intimidated or pressured by baseless allegations. He stressed that he remains focused on his work supporting young Nigerians and contributing positively to society.

Tinubu concluded by urging for calm, responsible dialogue, and a shift away from sensational claims, reaffirming his dedication to philanthropy and youth development while rejecting what he described as efforts to manufacture controversy around his name.
