Political tensions in the United States intensified after conservative commentator Scott McConnell publicly urged Vice President JD Vance to consider replacing Donald Trump using the 25th Amendment.
McConnell argued that Vance should publicly support a transition of power, citing concerns about the administration’s handling of the ongoing conflict involving Iran. He also suggested that Vance could select a new running mate and rule out seeking re-election in 2028 to stabilize the political climate.
The remarks, shared on social media, quickly gained attention, highlighting divisions within conservative circles over foreign policy decisions and the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
