Brooklyn Beckham has sparked fresh speculation about tensions within the Beckham family after publicly celebrating his mother-in-law on UK Mother’s Day while noticeably failing to acknowledge his own mother, Victoria Beckham.
On Sunday, March 15, Brooklyn shared a heartfelt message on social media dedicated to his wife’s mother, Claudia Peltz, who recently marked her 71st birthday on March 12. In the post, he described her as “the best mother-in-law,” adding that he hoped she had a wonderful birthday celebration. The message was accompanied by a photo of Claudia with his wife, Nicola Peltz.

However, Brooklyn did not publicly mention or post about Victoria Beckham for Mother’s Day, a move that quickly drew attention online given the ongoing reports of friction within the famous family.
Meanwhile, Victoria was celebrated by her husband, football legend David Beckham, along with their other children — Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham, and their youngest daughter Harper Beckham — who all shared tributes to her on the special day.
The apparent snub comes months after Brooklyn made a strongly worded statement on social media suggesting that he was distancing himself from his parents.
In that message, he claimed he was finally standing up for himself and accused his parents of shaping public narratives about their family in the media for years. Brooklyn alleged that false stories had been circulated in order to protect the family’s public image, sometimes at the expense of others.
He also suggested that his parents had interfered in his relationship with Nicola Peltz, whom he began dating in 2019 before the pair eventually married.
The situation has continued to fuel speculation about a deepening rift within the Beckham household, with fans closely watching the family’s public interactions for signs of reconciliation or further tension.
