In a remarkable demonstration of faith, leadership, and commitment to the advancement of God’s kingdom, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku of the Celestial Church of Christ, City of God Cathedral, Ojodu, Lagos, has generously donated a brand-new 200KVA/33/400V electrical power transformer to the Celestial Church of Christ Theological Seminary located at Km 53, Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
The newly delivered equipment is a critical infrastructure that will significantly enhance electricity supply within the Seminary. Designed to efficiently step up or step down voltage levels, the transformer will ensure safer power transmission and stable electricity consumption, thereby creating a more conducive learning and living environment for students and staff of the institution.
Explaining the motivation behind the donation, Cardinal Odunmbaku emphasized the importance of prioritizing God’s work above all else.
“Believing in Christ Jesus, God instructed us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto us. It is in obedience to this divine instruction that I donate this power transformer to the Celestial Theological Seminary,” he stated.
Receiving the donation with deep appreciation, the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donor. He noted that the generous gesture would not only strengthen the institution’s power infrastructure but would also enhance the academic experience and performance of students preparing for spiritual leadership.
He further prayed that God would abundantly bless and replenish the resources of Cardinal Odunmbaku, rewarding his generosity and unwavering commitment to the growth of the church and the empowerment of future ministers.
Indeed, this noble act stands as a shining testament to visionary leadership, faith in action, and a deep commitment to building a stronger foundation for the next generation of God’s servants.
