The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has extended a remarkable gesture of goodwill to Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger recently released from Kirikiri Prison.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Ossai announced that Emmanson has been offered a job in Delta State with a monthly salary of ₦500,000. The package also includes a fully sponsored luxury trip to the state, complete with flight tickets, accommodation in a five-star hotel, a guided tour, and VIP access to the upcoming Delta Social Media Summit scheduled for August 28 in Asaba.
“I’m offering Comfort Emmanson a complimentary trip to Delta State, known as the Big Heart and a hub for global tourism,” Ossai wrote. “Additionally, a job opportunity with a monthly salary of ₦500,000 has been secured for her in Delta State. All expenses — flights, hotel, and tours — will be fully covered.”
Ossai explained that the offer was designed to help Emmanson relax and recover after her release from prison. “I’d like to extend an invitation for her to visit Delta State and unwind after her ordeal. She won’t be disappointed as I will be giving her a good time,” he added.
The governor’s aide also called on anyone in contact with Emmanson to ask her to reach out to him directly via Instagram to claim the offer.
Emmanson, whose case drew public attention, has yet to publicly respond to the generous gesture.
