Over the years, E! News featured a rotating roster of influential hosts including Giuliana Rancic, Ryan Seacrest, Terrence J, Jason Kennedy, Catt Sadler, and Maria Menounos, many of whom became stars in their own right. Its red carpet pre-shows and insider scoops made it a must-watch for fans eager to stay up to date on the lives of Hollywood’s biggest names.
In recent years, however, the show struggled to keep pace with the rapidly changing media environment. In a statement, NBCUniversal, the parent company of E!, said the decision to end the program was part of a broader restructuring strategy across its networks.
“We are incredibly proud of the legacy of ‘E! News’ and the cultural impact it has had over the past three decades. This move reflects the evolving ways audiences consume entertainment news today.”

Despite the cancellation, E! will continue to produce other entertainment programming, including red carpet specials, reality shows, and digital content.
