Ebo Noah, the Ghanaian man who captured global attention after predicting a devastating flood set to begin on December 25, has spoken out on why the prophesied doomsday did not occur.

Ebo rose to prominence earlier in the year after unveiling a massive wooden structure he called the Ebo Noah Ark, which he claimed was built following divine instruction. According to him, God had warned of a three-year rainfall that would begin on Christmas Day and bring about the destruction of the world unless people repented.

His message, combined with viral videos showing the steady expansion of the ark, drew intense public interest. Visitors reportedly traveled from different parts of Ghana and beyond to see the structure, while social media buzzed with debate, curiosity, and skepticism.

However, with December 25 passing without incident, Ebo released a video statement on Thursday explaining that a new revelation altered the timeline of the prophecy.

He said that after prolonged prayers, fasting, and consultations with other religious leaders, he received another vision showing an overwhelming number of people from around the world seeking refuge in the ark—far more than it could accommodate.

According to him, this prompted him to plead with God for mercy and more time.

“God reveals to redeem,” Ebo said. “I have prayed, I have fasted, I have given, and I have built. Through prayer, I received another vision, and in that vision, the number of people coming into the ark—from the country and from all over the world—was more than the ark could contain.”

He explained that he shared the vision with several Christian leaders, who joined him in prayers and intercession. Following this, he claimed that additional time was granted to enable the construction of more arks.

“As we interceded together, God granted us more time to build additional arks that will be able to contain everyone,” he said.

Ebo also cautioned the public against rushing to the ark’s location, stressing that he was not selling access or collecting donations.

“Nobody should rush anywhere. I am not selling tickets, and I am not taking money from anyone,” he said.

He urged people to remain calm, celebrate the Christmas season peacefully, and continue to repent, insisting that the core message of his prophecy remained unchanged.

“Please stay at home. Enjoy yourselves. Have fun. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. But remember—the ark is still there. Repent. Repent. Repent,” he added.

Ebo’s actions and claims have continued to draw comparisons with the biblical Noah, whose ark, according to scripture, saved humanity from a great flood that wiped out the ancient world.
