Man uses lottery numbers from dream to win $3.4 million jackpot - UPI.com

In a twist of fate that sounds more like a movie plot than real life, a man in South Africa has stunned the nation by winning the national lottery twice — both times using the exact same numbers, which he claims came to him in a vivid dream.

The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, first hit the jackpot several years ago, taking home a life-changing R6 million after playing a set of six numbers he saw in a dream the night before. At the time, he believed the dream was a divine message and never expected lightning to strike twice.

But against all odds, it did.

Years later, guided by the same instinct and sense of destiny, the man decided to try his luck again — using the exact same numbers from his original dream. This time, he won R5.7 million, shocking not only himself but the entire country. Statistically, the odds of this happening are astronomical — one expert put it at less than 1 in several billion.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he said in an interview with the South African National Lottery. “When I saw the winning numbers, my legs gave out. I thought I was being pranked. But it was real — again.”

Even more incredibly, the man says he never plays any other numbers and doesn’t even participate in every draw. “Something just tells me when to play,” he explained. “It’s like a voice or a feeling. I trust it.”

He attributes both of his wins to a combination of faith, intuition, and destiny. “I believe dreams are how God talks to us,” he said. “I didn’t win by chance. This was a message, and I listened.”

The dual-win miracle has ignited a wave of fascination and speculation online. Many are calling him the “Dream Prophet,” while others wonder if he’s tapped into something mystical or otherworldly. Some skeptics, however, suggest it’s nothing more than wild coincidence and caution against putting too much faith in dreams.

Regardless of belief, the man has used his winnings wisely. After his first win, he paid off debts, built a home for his family, and started a small business. Following his second win, he says he plans to invest in education and help fund scholarships for underprivileged youth.

“Money comes and goes,” he said. “But what you do with it is what matters. I was given a second chance to make a bigger difference.”

Two lottery wins. One dream. A story that defies odds and blurs the line between chance and fate — and reminds the world that sometimes, the wildest dreams really do come true.
