There's Some New EV Dirt Bikes Built For Teens, And They Look Pretty Solid

SSR Motorsports has unveiled two new electric dirt bikes designed to attract younger riders and newcomers to off-road motorcycling.

The new SR-E8 Pro and SR-E15 Pro models feature lightweight aluminum frames, brushless electric motors, and 72-volt battery systems. The SR-E8 Pro delivers 8 kW of peak power, while the more powerful SR-E15 Pro produces 15 kW.

Both bikes come equipped with adjustable suspension, multiple riding modes, and LCD displays. The manufacturer claims the bikes can travel up to 75 miles on a single charge under ideal conditions.

Priced at $4,299 and $4,899 respectively, the models are positioned as affordable entry points into electric off-road riding. The company says the bikes are suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike.

SSR Motorsports, founded in 2002, has traditionally focused on affordable off-road bikes but is now expanding into the electric vehicle market. The launch forms part of a broader strategy to introduce more electric models in the coming years.

Industry observers say the move reflects growing interest in electric off-road vehicles, particularly among younger riders seeking quieter and lower-maintenance alternatives to traditional motorcycles.
