In an unprecedented united action, three major Nollywood bodies — the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), and the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) — have jointly sanctioned actor Taiye Arimoro following a disruptive incident that occurred during the production of Peggy Ovire’s film Pieces of Love.
AGN President Emeka Rollas announced the decision on Thursday, noting that the guilds were compelled to intervene to “protect the integrity, safety, and trust” within the Nigerian film industry. Rollas described the guilds as a family bound by responsibility, stressing that accountability is non-negotiable for anyone working within Nollywood.
According to the joint disciplinary report dated November 27, 2025, investigators from all three guilds reviewed statements, video evidence, and testimonies from cast and crew. Their findings identified Taiye Arimoro as the main instigator in the on-set
