Leading African fintech company Interswitch has introduced Quickteller Travel, a new digital platform designed to revolutionize how individuals, businesses, and operators plan and pay for travel across the continent.

The launch took place at the 21st AKWAABA African Travel Market in Lagos, where Interswitch showcased the platform’s ability to simplify bookings for flights, hotels, tours, interstate transport, and corporate travel while providing secure and seamless payment options.

During a panel discussion at the expo, Nnenna Ajanwachuku, Vice President, Transport Ecosystem at Interswitch, highlighted the company’s commitment to reshaping Africa’s travel economy through technology.

“We’re not just processing transactions; we’re building the infrastructure that links travellers, operators, and service providers across Africa. Quickteller Travel makes bookings smarter, payments safer, and travel more inclusive for everyone,” Ajanwachuku said.

Over the three-day exhibition, Interswitch’s stand attracted significant interest from travel agencies, fintech developers, and transport operators keen to integrate Quickteller Travel’s features into their operations. The platform’s integration with fintech APIs and support for transport companies positions it as a major step forward in digitizing Africa’s travel and tourism ecosystem.

With Quickteller Travel, Interswitch aims to make planning and paying for journeys across Africa faster, easier, and more reliable — connecting the continent’s growing travel market with cutting-edge financial technology.
