The United States Department of State has unveiled a reward of up to $10 million for information that could help authorities track or identify key Iranian figures, including Iran’s newly emerged leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

According to the announcement, several high-ranking Iranian officials were placed on the list, among them Eskandar Momeni and Esmail Khatib. In total, about ten individuals were named as persons of interest in connection with activities linked to Iran’s security and intelligence structures.

U.S. officials stated that the targeted individuals are believed to play influential roles in directing operations connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Washington accuses the organization of planning and coordinating militant activities across several regions of the world.

The State Department encouraged anyone who may possess useful information to submit tips through secure communication channels, including encrypted platforms like Tor and Signal. Authorities noted that individuals who provide credible intelligence could qualify not only for financial compensation but also for relocation assistance and protection if necessary.

The reward is being offered through the U.S. government’s Rewards for Justice Program, which provides financial incentives for information that leads to the identification, capture, or prosecution of individuals accused of terrorism or related crimes.

The announcement comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions following the reported death of Iran’s long-time Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Reports claim he died in a bombing on February 28 during the early stages of a major conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, a development that has further intensified instability across the Middle East.
