The short clip, filmed inside the White House, captures Trump and Ronaldo engaging in casual conversation before the Portuguese superstar bursts into laughter. The video was shared with the caption:

The moment comes shortly after President Trump hosted a high-profile dinner in honour of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is currently on an official visit to Washington, D.C. Ronaldo — now a leading figure in the Saudi Pro League — attended the event as part of the Saudi delegation, accompanied by Rodriguez.
During the dinner, Trump lightheartedly revealed that his youngest son is an ardent admirer of Ronaldo, joking that the youngster “likes him more” — a remark that drew laughter from guests.
The video has since sparked widespread reactions online, with fans celebrating the rare interaction between one of the world’s most famous athletes and one of America’s most prominent political figures.
