Adele announces first new song Easy On Me in nearly six years

Adele announced her musical return sending fans wild.

Her new single Easy on Me will be released on 15 October ahead of her fourth album.

Adele Away for nearly six years, fans were absolutely delighted with the news on social media on Tuesday.

Adele didn’t give away too many clues with her bombshell announcement on Instagram which sent the internet into meltdown.

She revealed the title of the song – Easy On Me – and the date in the caption which read: “Easy On Me – October 15.”

Her big reveal was accompanied with a soundbite from the track.

In an elegant black and white video, Adele put a tape cassette into the car and glanced into the mirror.

As her song begins to play in the clip, the singer turned up the volume and sways to the music while driving her car. 

Social media was awash with fans sharing their excitement about the release in the comments below.

Among the sea of comments, one person wrote: “Omgg thank youuuuu I have been waiting!”

Another wrote: “Me after 20 seconds: This is the best song I’ve ever heard.”

“She’s back!!! Time for us to pop another lung singing along.”

Adele has been dropping clues about her musical comeback across her social media.

The number 30 appeared on billboards and 30 was projected on to famous landmarks around the world – including in Dubai, Ireland, France, Italy and the US.

She has completely transformed her life, having adopted a healthier lifestyle and losing a reported seven stone in the process.

Earlier in September, Adele went Instagram official with her US sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul.

She shared a cute black and white photograph of the hot new celebrity couple.

It is her first official relationship since she divorced her ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019.

The exes have an eight-year-old son together.
