Lamar Odom was reportedly involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles early Monday morning, September 18.

The former NBA player, 43, was reportedly not injured but shaken up after his Mercedes was wrecked when he collided with two parked cars around 3 a.m.

According to reports by TMZ, he was behind the wheel and was on his way back home from a friend’s in Northridge when he got into an accident in a residential area near his home.

Because he dropped his phone and was reaching down to retrieve it, he ended up hitting one parked car which bumped into another one in front of it. No one was inside of the parked cars at the time of the accident.

When authorities arrived at the scene, the two-time NBA champion was reportedly cooperative and explained how the accident occurred. As a result, they did not file a police report or press charges.

They also concluded Odom did not need medical assistance even though the impact did deploy his airbags.

Reps also told the outlet that he was asked if he had been drinking, and Odom responded about his sobriety and owning rehab facilities.

The police reportedly did not conduct a field sobriety test.

Once Odom explained how the accident occurred, the owners of the parked cars came out of their homes to exchange information.

Afterwards, Odom’s Mercedes was towed and his security team drove him home, according to the outlet.

Twelve years ago, the ex-husband of reality star Khloe Kardashian was also involved in another car accident.

In July 2011, he was in a serious accident in New York City, which resulted in a collision between the car Odom was riding in, a motorcyclist, and a 15-year-old pedestrian, who ended up succumbing to his injuries.
