Hilaria and Alec Baldwin welcomed a baby girl to their family, the couple confirmed on social media Tuesday.

Hilaria Baldwin shared a photo of their newborn daughter to Instagram with the caption: “We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true.”

Her actor husband shared the same photo with the caption, “Blessed…”

The 37-year-old first hinted at the news Monday when she shared a photo of herself surrounded by six children, including a newborn on her lap. The photo had fans doing a double-take as the couple welcomed son Eduardo in September.

Reps for the couple did not respond to USA TODAY’s requests for comment.

Alec shared the same photo of Hilaria and the six children Monday with the caption, “Mi vida,” which means “My life” in Spanish — which led the “SNL” actor to fire back at one probing commenter.

“Who’s the mother? She wasn’t pregnant. She gave birth six months ago,” wrote the commenter. “If it was a surrogate just say that. If the baby was adopted just say that. If the baby was a product of an affair and you’ve decided to raise it with your wife just say that.”

“You should shut the (expletive) up and mind your own business,” Alec responded.

Another poster came to the family’s defense, writing, “wish I knew why are people so mean.”

“Because basically, they’re not very smart,” Alec Baldwin wrote. “Americans are people who know less about how to live a peaceful, healthy life than most of the civilized world.”

The author (“The Living Clearly Method”) and “30 Rock” actor, 62, share children Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 4, Romeo, 2, and Eduardo, 6 months. Alec Baldwin also has a 25-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Hilaria Baldwin, also a yoga instructor, has been open about her journey to motherhood.

In the past two years, she shared the couple’s struggle with miscarriages before they welcomed Eduardo last year.

She has more recently made headlines around her cultural identity after social media users accused her of pretending to be Spanish even though she was born in Boston.

In December, videos emerged showing Baldwin speaking with different accents, and tweets claimed she used to go by the name Hillary.

She addressed the controversy on social media and later apologized for not being clearer.

She reiterated she was raised with both American and Spanish cultures and feels “a true sense of belonging to both,” and added that “the way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained.”

“I should have been more clear and I’m sorry,” she continued, captioning a photo of herself with husband Alec Baldwin and their children. “I’m proud of the way I was raised, and we’re raising our children to share the same love and respect for both. Being vulnerable and pushing ourselves to learn and grow is what we’ve built our community on, and I hope to get back to the supportive and kind environment we’ve built together.”

Alec Baldwin defended his wife then, too. “We live in a world now where we’re hidden behind the anonymity of social media,” he said, noting that people feel they can say anything.
