Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are taking their romance abroad! The couple was spotted over the weekend in Gran Canaria, Spain, where Lopez, 52, is shooting the film The Mother.

The pair was spotted holding hands while walking the streets and having an intimate talk on a park bench together. The “Jenny From the Block” singer looked stylish in a white crop top and matching overalls with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. Affleck, 49, went casual in a baseball T-shirt and dark jeans with sneakers.

Lopez is both starring in and serving as a producer on The Mother, a thriller about an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left early in life.

The movie temporarily paused production in early 2022 after a COVID outbreak on the production team. The movie is directed by Niki Caro and co-stars Omari Hardwick, Gael Garcia Bernal and Joseph Fiennes.

BackgridLast month, a source told ET that the formerly engaged pair is “open” to the idea of getting engaged again and married.

“Ben and Jen are so in love. Their loved ones would not be surprised if Ben pops the question,” the source said at the time. “Of course, they will be considerate of their children when thinking about moving forward with their relationship. They both want things to be great between their kids, not just the two of them.”

And the pair is likely soaking up their alone time together in Spain. During a February appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lopez joked about finding “private moments” with her man.

“Bathroom, closet. Private moments,” Lopez said of their hiding spots when home with their combined total of five kids. “For private moments to have talks, do things.”

Lopez shares 13-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex, Marc Anthony, while Affleck and his ex, Jennifer Garner, are parents to Samuel, 9, Seraphina, 13, and Violet, 16.
