The Lagos state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has hinted at possibility of erring residents paying for the demolition of their structures in future. The state government has been demolishing structures built on water channels and drainages.

 

An X user had suggested that the state government should start making people pay for the demolitions. Responding, Tokunboh said

‘’We will definitely get to that at some point’
