Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze was born on 22 August in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He hails from Item, a village in Bende Local Government, Abia State. Pastor Jerry was born into a family of a single mother in a poor state.
Pastor Jerry is young looking, so he is expected to be in his 30s.
He had his secondary education at Ibeku High School, Umuahia. He then proceeded to Abia State University (ABSU) where he graduated with a degree in History and International Relations. He later was a holder of an M.Sc in Human Resource Management.
Pastor Jerry is married to Pastor Mrs. Eno Jerry and their union is blessed with two kids, a boy, and a girl, Jerry, and Samara. Pastor Jerry worked in a broadcasting company before he joined the United Nations and the World Bank Project. He resigned from the white-collar job in 2009 following instruction from God, he explained in an interview. In the same year, he went fully into spreading the gospel as a pastor.
Pastor Jerry started Streams of Joy International in 2011. He is the lead pastor of the church and the convener of New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD).
