Adidas cut ties with Kanye West

Previously, Kanye had a shoe production deal with Adidas.

However, in 2022, the multimillion-dollar company ended its partnership with the rapper following his anti-semitic comments.

The global retailer said they thoroughly reviewed their Yeezy partnership and expect to lose KSh 30 billion in net income this year by ending their deal.

“Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

As a result, Adidas said it would terminate the partnership with Ye, end production of Yeezy-branded products, and stop all payments to Ye and his companies
