Media personality Mayowa Lambe, the estranged ex-wife of OAP Roby Ekpo, has sparked reactions online after sharing a video of herself dancing and praising God, hours after her former husband’s interview about their failed marriage went viral.
Roby Ekpo had, in a recent interview, made several allegations about their relationship, claiming that Mayowa denied him intimacy during their marriage, allegedly moved in with another man he later discovered to be her lover, and secretly used contraceptives while they were trying to conceive.
Shortly after the interview gained traction, Mayowa, who remarried last week, took to her Instagram page to share a cheerful video of herself dancing and expressing gratitude to God for “showing her love.”
She captioned the post: “Because it’s going to be a great week!” — a message many social media users interpreted as a subtle response to the ongoing conversation surrounding her past marriage.
Meanwhile, an older video of Mayowa, recorded months before her recent wedding, has also resurfaced online. In the clip shared on December 10, 2025, the media personality spoke about her approach to love, describing herself as someone who loves deeply and wholeheartedly.
According to her, she is either fully in love or not at all, explaining that she doesn’t just fall in love but “collapses” into it. However, she noted that once she falls out of love, there is no turning back.
Mayowa further revealed that disrespect is the major factor that causes her feelings to fade, adding that once love dies naturally due to disrespect, she moves on completely.
The resurfaced video has fueled conversations online, especially after Roby Ekpo revealed in his interview that he was blindsided by Mayowa’s decision to remarry, describing her wedding as a shock to him.
The unfolding drama continues to generate reactions across social media, with many users interpreting Mayowa’s recent post as a silent but pointed response to her ex-husband’s claims.
