Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Peter PSquare, has fired back at critics who questioned why he still uses the PSquare name despite recently changing his birthday.
The reaction followed a comment from an X user who advised the singer to remove “PSquare” from his social media handles if he truly intends to distance himself from his twin brother and former music partner.
Responding on X, Peter defended his decision, stating that he was the one who came up with the PSquare name, and therefore sees no reason to abandon it.
The singer also used the opportunity to revisit the ongoing family dispute, alleging betrayal by his siblings. He dismissed claims that the alleged financial misconduct began after one of his brothers got married, insisting that none of them were married when the issues reportedly started.
Peter further revealed that he and his elder brother, Jude Okoye, are currently locked in a legal battle over alleged diversion of funds. He accused Jude, who once managed the PSquare group, of using another company to redirect earnings meant for the group.
The latest exchange adds to the long-running feud within the Okoye family, which has repeatedly made headlines over the years.
